Photographic Trips

I offer the opportunity to join a small group of no more than four people or to come for a one-to-one trip tailored to your photographic and personal preferences.
A trip may themed to a target species, such as hares or deer, or designed to capture a particular kind of image, such as macro. In each trip, luck and a chance encounter with the unexpected often brings the best and most satisfying results.
During the trip, you may be photographing from a carefully positioned hide, we might go to actively find and stalk close to animals, or we may call animals such as roe deer so that they come close.
I will teach you how to approach animals, how to increase your chances of capturing the image you want and how, when you finally get up close, not to fluff it at the last moment!
Weather plays a huge part in the day. The quality of the light, wind direction, temperature and prevailing conditions all combine to determine which technique is best.
Bespoke Trips

The best way in which to learn stalking, tracking and the art of wildlife photography is to have an intensive one-to-one day or weekend; perhaps in pursuit of a particular species or a special image. In this way, I can give you total commitment to your aspirations and what you need.
Suitability
I will always try to accommodate your needs, but a decent general level of physical fitness is usually required as there is quite a bit of walking involved; but if you can happily walk the dog and get up and down the stairs you should be fine. However, if you have any concerns, then please ask me and I will tailor the outing to suit you in every way I can.
Where will it take place?
My trips will take us to locations that are exclusive, private and set within some of the finest, most quintessentially English countryside. I have good links with local landowners, providing me with unrivalled access and local intelligence.
We may also visit local sites such as The New Forest, Martin Down National Nature Reserve or use the miles of accessible countryside around the area.
Making your booking
The best way to book either a group or one-to-one session is to get in touch with me via the contact page.
I will then get in touch to discuss your requirements and advise you on suitable dates and other details. No two trips are ever the same, so please contact me today to discuss your requirements.
One Day Group Trips
Six to eight hours for the trip which we might split into two in the summer months (dawn and dusk). You will need to bring your own lunch and drink, or we can lunch in a pub.
